Course Exams

  1. Scheduled, written, and collective course exams are held once each during the middle of the semester (mid-term exam) and at the end of the semester (final exam).
  2. Make-up exams can only be taken if a student has an official leave of absence from lectures, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  3. Students who can take a make-up exam are as follows:

a. Students who are sick/hospitalized, as proven by a doctor’s, hospital’s, or community health center’s note.

b. Students who are participating in a competition or tournament representing the Faculty of Economics and Business, as proven by a letter of assignment from the Faculty of Economics and Business.

c. Death of an immediate family member, as proven by a death certificate from a hospital or neighborhood head.

d. The request letter must be submitted to the academic office of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tanjungpura University.

Course Exam Requirement

  1. A course exam can be held if the lecturer’s attendance for that course is 100% of the 14 scheduled face-to-face lecture sessions.
  2. Requirements to take a course exam:

a. Attendance at face-to-face lectures is a minimum of 75% of the total scheduled lecture time in one semester.

b. Not subject to academic sanctions.

 

c. Possess a Student ID Card and an Exam Card for the current semester.

Regulations for Course Exam Partisipant

  1. Must bring the Study Plan Form and Student ID Card, and sign the Exam Attendance List.
  2. Must be dressed neatly and politely in accordance with the Lecture Regulations.
  3. T-shirts and sandals are prohibited, as is long hair.
  4. Must bring all your own stationery.
  5. The following are prohibited during the exam:

a. Writing, scribbling, or drawing on desks or the walls of the exam room.

b. Placing anything such as books, notes, papers, and mobile phones on or around the seat that could be used to help solve the exam questions, unless specified in the exam paper.

c. Activating mobile phones.

d. Borrowing stationery from other exam participants.

e.   Disturbing the tranquility and smooth running of the exam through behavior, sound, or gestures.

f. Communicating with other exam participants in any form or manner.

g. Leaving the exam room without permission from the supervisor.

h. Eating, drinking, and smoking.

6.     Comply with the instructions of the supervisor during the exam.

7.     Raise your hand if you need something related to the exam.

8.     Receiving the exam paper is considered as having participated in the exam.

9.     Leave the exam room after submitting the answer sheet to the supervisor, no earlier than 30 minutes after the exam begins.

10.  Must submit the answer sheet to the supervisor immediately after the exam time ends.

 

11.  Late students are allowed to take the exam as long as no other participant has left, and they will not be given an extension of time.
